One of my therapist friends closed her message to me today by saying: “Happy New Year!” Catching herself, I suppose, she added, “That’s what I’m supposed to say, right?” She’s not my therapist but as she continued, I thought she really must be a darned good one as she added: “…[I]t seems too far reaching given your situation. So I will wish you a soothing coming year with abundant grace for healing and being surprised by Joy. That’s better.” I wish all my readers a Happy New Year and a Soothing Coming Year.” Whatever fits.
